Tollywood bombshell Anushka’s full name is Anushka Shetty.She is also known as Sweety SHetty.Her father first thought of the name ileana which is a greek word then later changed his thoughts.Her mother tongue is TULU. Anushka has two brothers Dr.Sai Ramesh, a postgraduate in
Dentistry and Gunaranjan, a businessman.She is a pure Mangloorian and comes from a famous family
called the Bellipady family.She is strictly Vegetarian.Anushka has a hobby of collecting news articles of all natural disasters.

Anushka completed her schooling and college days in Bangalore.Having completed graduation in Computer Applications, her interest fell towards yoga.She practised Yoga at Guru Bharat Thakur.He is a famous personality. Then Anushka became a yoga instructor. Puri Jagannath
accidentally saw Anushka through another director and he fell for her looks. And immediately Anushka was selected for “Super”. Then Anushka grabbed attention of Telugu people. Her acting skills in Vikramarkudu silenced the critics. Anushka also starred opposite Madhavan in a Tamil movie Rendu.

Coming to the filmography of Anushka in 2005 two films released ,one is her debut “Super” and another is “Mahanandi”.In 2006 Tamil flick “Rendu” opposite Madhavan , an Item number in Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s “Stalin”.But “Vikramarkudu” gave her a break to prove herself. the last movie in 2006 was “Asthram” opposite Collection king Mohan babu’s son Vishnu Vardhan Babu.In 2007 she did a glamourous role in “Lakshyam” opposite Gopi Chand.

Anushka’s upcoming films are “Don” and “Okka Magadu” in which her role is kept secretive.
